ETFE & PFA Rotational Sinter Lining

Engineered for exceptional chemical resistance, even under high temperatures — solvent-resistant, non-stick, easy to clean, non-flammable, cold-resistant, and vacuum-suitable.

ETFE & PFA Rotational

We offer Rotational Lining in the following fluoropolymers:
  • ChemResist ETFE Nature
  • ChemResist ETFE Ektra+Evolution
  • ChemResist PFA

Thickness up to 5 mm possible!

Advantages:

  • Seamless lining
  • Exceptional, universal chemical resistance at high temperatures
  • Purity
  • No stress fractures
  • Electrical conduction
  • Recoverable
  • Solvent resistance
  • Easy to clean thanks to non-stick coating
  • Flammable
  • Resistant to cold
  • Completely vacuum due to good adhesion
  • FDA and EU compliant

Sizes possible in combination with stainless steel, carbon steel or completely in plastic.

These primary benefits not only provide an extra long service life, but also contribute to a more reliable application process and improved quality of the final lining.

MB Plastics, together with Gutbrod, is currently a pioneer in Europe and Southeast Asia with “ChemResist Rotational Lining” lining technology. Linings and coating technologies often fail to meet the many requirements imposed on them, including vacuum, thermal shock, chemical resistance, and more ChemRsist ETFE and PFA sets a new standard in this case, utilizing a process and computer-cintrolled lining technology bases on the rotational sintering process. this procedure creates a seamless lining with a virtually uniform lining thickness (max 4 mm.)

Steps in the process

1. Preparation of the part to be lined

2. Inspection of the components to be lined.
The components to be processed
are inspected before they are
lined according to
DIN EN 14879-1 construction guidelines. The radii must
be well-rounded, and the weld seams must
be ground cleanly.

3. Thermal degreasing:
Prior to the lining process, remove
any greasy or oily residues
as these may affect the
adhesion of the lining
to the carrier material.

4. Preparation
of the object –
roughening the
surface:
To achieve adhesion,
the parts are first blasted
with highly purified
aluminum oxide.

5. Rotational Sinter Lining:
The components are secured in the system and
filled with the appropriate
material.
The lining temperature
and rotational speed are
individually adjusted.

6. Finishing:
Mechanical processing of
the sealed surface.
